Make a Difference — Volunteer With Us

At Richmond Hill United Church, we believe every helping hand brings hope, warmth, and light.

When you volunteer, you become part of a caring community — one that uplifts others through simple acts of kindness. Whether you're preparing a meal, tending the garden, setting up for an event, or offering a warm smile, your time and presence matter deeply.

Volunteering isn’t just about what you give — it’s about the connections you build, the joy you share, and the sense of purpose you carry.

No act is too small. Everyone is welcome.
Come as you are — and let your kindness take root.

Volunteers Needed

By far our biggest challenge in this year’s book event is moving the books from their current storage in Lower Centennial Hall to the rooms on the office floor for display.

We urgently need as many volunteers as possible to help move boxes of books, each weighing approximately 10–20 lbs, on the following dates/times:

Saturday, September 6: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Thursday, September 11: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Saturday, September 13: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Tuesday, September 16: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

If you’re interested and available to help, please send an email to the office at rhucoffice@gmail.com.

Thank you all in advance
